HOW MY LIFE WAS SAVED

It was Sunday, May 22, 2011 I was working at Lafayette Regional Health Center and about 3pm we got a call that a tornado was spotted a couple miles down the road. All the staff on the 2nd floor started working together to get all the patients into the hallway and close all doors to keep everyone safe. For two hours we stood in the hallway nervous and waiting. We were spared that afternoon only to find out when we got home that a hospital 200 miles away in Joplin lost it's top 2 floors...
